What We Offer - English I
Revision Focus LLC provides STAAR-aligned instructional materials and educational tools designed to support English I & II educators across Texas. It's a strategic resource that serves as your all-inclusive hub for revising materials that target 9(Bi), 9(Bii), and 9C.
Teacher editions are available as downloadable PDF files. It contains blackline masters that can be duplicated by an individual teacher for the students in his or her class only. The purchase is for usage for the current school year.
LICENSE AGREEMENT: The user acknowledges that no part of this resource (downloaded PDF) may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any way or by any means (electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise) without prior written permission from Revision Focus LLC, with the following exceptions: 1) An individual teacher may reproduce these materials if the campus or the district has purchased the grade-level license and if his/her name and email has been submitted on the Sign Up Form. Reproduction of these materials for an entire school or school system or for commercial sale is strictly prohibited. 2) The user may store downloaded PDFs on a hard drive or on an internet-based remote server that is password protected and accessible only by the teacher. This resource may not be distributed online or uploaded anywhere it can be publicly found or downloaded. The user of these products agrees not to circumvent this agreement by reverse engineering or using any materials found therein, wherever. The application of fair use shall not apply.

Part I: Reporting Category 2 Teacher's Guide includes the Top 5 Categories in a 117-page volume which includes 2-3 paragraph selections as well as full essays with relevant topics that highlight the great state of Texas, among others, and engage students. The question and answer choices are formatted according to STAAR standards.

Companion State Transitions Teacher's Guide - a 35-page book that includes the state transitions that have appeared on the STAAR exam from 2013-2025. They have the definition, as well as a list of synonyms and antonyms. Specific strategies are recommended for teachers.
Part I: Adding Transitions Teacher's Guide - a 71-page book that contains excerpts from authentic literature from various genres, including fiction, nonfiction, essays, biographies, fables, autobiographies, fairy tales, folklore, legends, and more. Topics for these excerpts include, but are not limited to, science, history, music, fantasy, detective and mystery, national parks, adventure, desert ecology, wildlife conservation, geography, and more. The user may store downloaded PDFs on a hard drive or on a password-protected internet-based remote server. An individual teacher may distribute this product via email, through a web-based class management platform (e.g., Google Classroom), or over the internet to his or her students, as long as access to the product is password protected. The teacher, campus, or district will not distribute any Revision Focus LLC materials or derivations thereof to any other teacher or student who is not specifically licensed under this agreement. This resource may not be uploaded anywhere it can be publicly found and downloaded.
